Maddie joined Little Pippins in July 2026 and has quickly become a popular part of the team. She began working in nurseries after leaving school and has built her experience through hands-on practice, completing both her Level 2 and Level 3 childcare qualifications along the way.
Maddie has always enjoyed being around children and is especially passionate about supporting their development. For her, one of the most rewarding parts of working in early years is watching children grow in confidence, develop new skills and show their individual personalities.
At Little Pippins, Maddie works with some our youngest children in Little Pips. She says she loves the calm, nurturing environment of the room and enjoys helping each child feel safe, settled and ready to explore. Having previously worked in a busy toddler room, she brings valuable experience, patience and confidence to her role.
Since joining Little Pippins, Maddie says has been struck by the friendly atmosphere and the opportunities children have to learn through new experiences. She particularly appreciates the outdoor space and the freedom children have to explore, play and discover the world around them.
Looking ahead, Maddie hopes to continue developing her knowledge of child development and is interested in pursuing child psychology in the future.
She is already building on her nursery experience by completing a behaviour course, which reflects her thoughtful approach to understanding and supporting children’s needs.
Outside of work, Maddie enjoys music, playing guitar and reading.
